Since its inception in 1999, INJAZ has aimed at enhancing the skills of youth and increasing their participation in the economy to help bridge the existing gap between the knowledge acquired through education and the skills required by the job market. INJAZ does this by enhancing students' leadership, business entrepreneurial, problem-solving, communication, and soft skills.
INJAZ brings various capacity building courses to classrooms in public schools around the Kingdom in full coordination with the Ministry of Education (MOE). With the full support of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and the King Abdullah Fund for Development (KAFD), INJAZ reaches out to university and college students in Jordan.
INJAZ was started as a project by Save the Children with funds from USAID, and it spun-off in 2001 to become an independent not-for-profit organization under the Patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah II. INJAZ is a member nation of Junior Achievement Worldwide.
